Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School
 

Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School (North) was raised on 15 Apr 1963, as a sequel to the expansion of the Corps of EME after the Indo-Chinese conflict of 1962. In 1967, when EME School (South) became Military College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), EME School (North) was re-designated as EME School. Consequent to the redefinition of the Corps as Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, the School has been redesignated as Electronics and Mechanical Engineering School. 

 Role

The role of EME School is to conduct formal training of officers, JCO's other ranks and civilians of the Corps of EME in the fields of B and C vehicles, engineering equipment, armament, small arms, instruments and bio-medical equipment.
