THE GORA

1. The Guards Officers Regimental Association was formed and registered at Nagpur as an association on 19 May 1993, to create a forum for fostering esprit-de-corps, promoting welfare activities and information sharing between serving and veteran officers of the Brigade of the Guards.

2.  The title of the Association will be ‘Guards Officers Regimental Association’ and will be referred to as GORA.

3.  The Association will be located at the Guards Regimental Centre Kamptee. GORA chapters may be established in other stations also. These chapters will not have any permanent establishment or funds and their activities will be coordinated by the senior most officer posted in the station.
