South Western Command offers a wide variety of opportunities to those who dare and reach out for adventure.  Water sports, wind surfing and Hot air ballooning are just to name a few.

Army Adventure Cup 2009

The 5th South Western Adventure Challenge Cup 2009 was conducted at Vidarbha Barrage on 04 and 05 October 2009. The competition consisted of the following events: -  

          (a)     Mountain Cycling            -        9 KM.
          (b)     Rafting                         -        16 KM.
          (c)     Hill Running                    -        11 KM.      

     
Motor Cycle Rally

A Trans Himalayan Motor Cycle Rally was conducted in July 2009.

Hot Air Ballooning

Hot air ballooning was conducted in Jaipur Military station in October 2008.

     
     

Water Sports.  Wind surfing, Kayaking and water skiing were organised during the  the visit of IMA cadets to Kota in August 2009.

     

Squash Championship.  Squash championship was conducted in Bathinda in September 2009.

     

Junior Coaching Camp.  Junior coaching camp on lessons of Golf was conducted at Jaipur in August 2009.

     

Kabaddi Championship.   Indoor Kabaddi championship was conducted in Bathinda during training year 2009-10.

Army Commander Cup Polo Championship.  Army commander cup Polo championship was organised at Jaipur in August 2008.
