With profound grief and sorry the Mechanised Infantry lost announces the sad demise of Lt Gen DS Gewal,AVSM on 10 Aug 2007 at RR Hospital, New Delhi. With the passing away of Gen Grewal,AVSM the Regt lost one of the Most professional soldier and senior offr of the Regiment.
