The aim of the Association is to promote espirit-de-corps and to look after welfare matters (other than service matters) of all ranks of ASC, both serving and retired.

Constitution

      Approval having been accorded by the Government vide Ministry of Defence letter No 66155/Q/ ST1/3304/D (QS) dated 22 July 91, the ASC Association has been formed with the aim and objects given below: -

Objects

• To enable members, as old comrades, to keep in touch with each other and with Army Service Corps.
• To promote social inter-action amongst its members and their families at a time and place to be decided by the respective Chapters.
• To promote and foster ties of brotherhood and comradeship among its members.
• To raise funds for achieving these objectives.
•  To engage in such other activities as may be incidental or ancillary to the attainment of the above objectives and to do all such other things as are conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.

Members

The Association has the following kinds of members: -

• Life Members :   Officers who have served or are serving in the Army Service Corps.
• Corporate Members :  Major ASC units (commanded by Lt Col and above), ASC Centre & College and ASC Centre (North).
• Honorary Members (Non-voting) :  Widows of all ASC officers.
