Pre-Release Training in Govt/Private Institutions

AG’s Branch organises pre-release re-settlement training for JCOs/OR through the Directorate General Resettlement in Government and private institutions for duration ranging from one month to one year. Details of the courses are published every year in March by the Directorate General of Resettlement and issued to all Record Offices. The various type of vocational training courses conducted are Computer Related Courses; Security and Fire Officer’s Courses; Agro-Diary and Poultry Courses; Technical Courses; Management Courses; Medical related Courses and Miscellaneous Courses. Personnel with two years residual service may apply for these resettlement courses. Nominal roll of applicants are forwarded through respective regimental Record Offices to Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) (AG’s Branch/CW-5) three months prior to commencement of courses. Detailments on these courses are done by Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) two months prior to commencement of the course.

 

Army Industrial Training Institute (AITI), Ambala Cantt
 

The Army Industrial Training Institute (AITI), Ambala Cantt functions to impart vocational training in six different trades to retired/retiring JCOs/OR in their last three years of service and to the eligible wards of serving/retired Army personnel. The institute is a joint venture of Army and Govt of Haryana, which is functioning on the guidelines set by Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGE & T), Ministry of Labour, Govt of India, New Delhi. The courses start on 01 Aug every year and these are at par with the Govt Industrial Training Institute. JCOs/OR can apply for admission to the courses run by Army ITI Ambala Cantt. Application for courses be submitted to Army ITI Ambala Cantt through respective Record Offices. The details of courses run by the institute is given below:-
