TRAINING SPECTRUM

     

 

1.      Alma Mater of all Engineer Officers, College of Military Engineering has a function encompassing training, advisory, projects and research & experimentation for the Combat Engineers, Military Engineering Service, Border Roads Organisation and Survey. The training is conducted for personnel of the Corps of Engineers, Other Arms and Services, Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces, Police and Civilians. Personnel from friendly foreign countries are also trained. 
 
2.      The College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) also recognises the degree courses run by College of Military Engineering. The College is accredited with an 'A' grading by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body of University Grants Commission (UGC). The College regularly participates in professional and industrial seminars and also conducts conferences, symposiums and seminars pertaining to training matters and technical subjects as also invites eminent speakers to deliver talks on subjects of military importance, general topics of interest and technical subjects. The College has an in-house printing press, which regularly publishes numerous technical and Combat Engineering journals and reference books. The College places great emphasis on physical training & sports & has myriad sports facilities.
