HISTORY OF WARS & OPERATIONS FOUGHT
AFTER 1948

No official history of the wars and Operation fought by the Indian Army after 1971 has been released. However a number of books have been published on various wars and operations post the India - Pak war 1947-48. Some of these books are listed below:-

(g)  Himalayan Blunder - The Curtain Raiser to the Sino-Indian War of 1962 by Brig JP Dalvi (Retd) published by Natraj publishers.

(h)   War in High Himalaya by Maj Gen DK Palit, VrC, (Retd) published by Lancer International.

(j)   War Despatches - Indo-Pak Conflict 1965 by Lt Gen Harbaksh Singh, VrC (Retd).

(k)  The Liberation of Bangladesh by Maj Gen Sukhwant Singh (Retd) published by Vikas Publishing House Pvt Ltd.

(l)   Victory in Bangladesh by Maj Gen Lachhman Singh, PVSM, VrC (Retd) published by Natraj Publishers.

(m)   Surrender at Dacca by Lt Gen JFR Jacob (Retd).
